BOOK LAUNCH: ‘HOP, STEP AND JUMP’ BY WINIFRED WATSON
Join Persephone Books for the launch of their latest title, ‘Hop, Step and Jump’ by Winifred Watson, who was a resident of Newcastle her entire life and is also the author of ‘Miss Pettigrew Lives for a Day’, Persephone's best-selling title that later became a film starring Amy Adams and Frances McDormand. Francesca Beauman, MD of Persephone Books, will talk about the novel, the author, how Persephone chooses its titles, and more. Copies of ‘Hop, Step and Jump’ will be for sale at the event.
